Tac Air Terminal

The facilities at Bluegrass Airport is now the flagship of the TAC Air and will be emulated across the country at the other company’s FBOs. The project posed unusual coordination issues due to the proximity of the operating airport and was completed on an accelerated schedule in order to be up and running ahead of a major influx of business for the owner associated with the World Equestrian Games. The construction consisted of structural steel framing, glass and stone exterior, high-end finishes with extensive custom casework and wood trim on the inside of the building. The foyer has a plane hanging from the clouds affixed to the ceiling and area designated for personal pilots to relax and watch movies in the theater room.
